The FlameThrowers sole road trip to the beautiful Pacific Northwest kicked off against the Seattle Raptors at Renton Memorial Stadium in suburban Seattle at 5pm on Saturday. The wind was moderate at about 10-12mph with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 60s.

San Francisco, April 23, 2014 – The San Francisco FlameThrowers and Fury, an elite women’s Ultimate team also out of San Francisco, have reached an agreement to join forces and support the growth of Ultimate in the Bay Area. In collaboration with the SF FlameThrowers and the Bay Area Disc Association, Fury will conduct clinics focused on player development for local league players. The FlameThrowers will also make a cash donation, which Fury will use to pay for practice fields. Additionally, the agreement provides a fundraising opportunity for Fury. As an affiliate partner of the SF FlameThrowers, Fury may sell tickets to FlameThrowers’ games and receive a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales.
