The San Francisco FlameThrowers are excited to announce that Greg Cohen will be joining the team for the 2016 AUDL season.

Greg has made an impact at every level he’s played. He earned notice at UC Santa Cruz as a USAU 2014 First-team All-SW-Region selection, and followed that up with an AUDL title with the Spiders and a world championship with Revolver later that summer.

He showed off his ability to bring something extra for special occasions at the 2015 AUDL Championship game, garnering well-deserved game MVP honors.

Said FlameThrowers coach Joshua Greenough, “Greg has all the tools at his disposal now, and really has no ceiling as a player. The FlameThrowers are committed to helping the rising stars of the sport develop to their utmost potential.”

Greg added, “I’ve been fortunate to play with and learn from some of the best players in ultimate, and really appreciate the Spiders for giving me the opportunity. Now I’m looking to add more dimensions to my game, and I’m thrilled to help the FlameThrowers compete for the AUDL title in 2016.”

The FlameThrowers finished ahead of others’ expectations in 2015, but short of their own. Said co-founder Michael Kinstlick, “Our goal every year, like all 26 teams, is to compete for the title. We believe long-term success comes from building a foundation of young, local players, and growing alongside them.”
